Cactus Bloom


  • 2 oz. El Mayor® Reposado Tequila
  • 1 1/2 oz. Avocado Simple Syrup*
  • 1 oz. Triple Sec
  • 1/2 oz. Pineapple Juice
  • Lime Wheel and Chili Lime Seasoning, for garnish



  1. Rim glass ½ with tajin
  2. Build cocktail in a shaker tin with ice
  3. Shake and strain into rimmed glass 
  4. Garnish with a lime wheel

*For the Avocado Simple Syrup


  • 2 c. Water
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 2 Whole Avocados


  1. Heat water in a pot on the stove.
  2. When water starts to bubble, add sugar and remove from heat.
  3. Stir until all sugar is dissolved.
  4. Allow to cool to room temperature.
  5. Split avocados down the middle.
  6. Remove seeds.
  7. Scoop avocado into a blender.
  8. Add simple syrup into the blender.
  9. Blend on high for 2 min, stop, stir, blend again.
  10. Store avocado simple syrup in a clean, labeled and dated container.
